About the position

The Director of IT is responsible for overseeing the information systems that support daily business operations across all departments. This role emphasizes fostering a positive work environment, ensuring effective communication, and managing the technology needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a positive work environment founded on teamwork, cooperation, and open communication.
  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all departments.
  • Assist in solving non-routine software, hardware, and procedures problems.
  • Communicate with management, users, staff, and GM to determine requirements for new or modified software & hardware.
  • Write recommendations for upper management's review.
  • Develop and oversee policies and procedures.
  • Plan, implement and oversee MIS budget.
  • Coordinate installation of hardware & software.
  • Conduct performance appraisals for staff members.
  • Oversee MIS quality control.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED; college preferred.
  • 3-6 years' experience in information technology and previous supervisory experience.
  • Working knowledge of computer software and Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and Office.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
