About the position

As the Director of Leisure Sales at Mandarin Oriental, Canouan, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales strategy for our luxury resort located on the stunning Canouan Island in St. Vincent & The Grenadines. This position requires a dynamic leader who can effectively promote our unique offerings, including our elegant colonial-style suites, chic Italian-design Patio Villas, and the exceptional amenities that our resort provides. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative sales strategies that align with the brand's reputation for excellence and luxury. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing the guest experience and maximizing revenue through leisure sales channels. In this role, you will lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that they meet their sales targets and deliver exceptional service to our guests. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials and campaigns that highlight the unique features of our resort, including our immaculate beaches, championship golf course, and luxurious spa services. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and other key partners will be essential in driving leisure sales and expanding our market reach. Additionally, you will analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Your insights will help shape our sales approach and ensure that we remain competitive in the luxury travel market. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the luxury hospitality industry, a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, and a proven track record in sales leadership.
