About the position
The Logistics Director at Radchem Products, Inc. will lead the Logistics department and collaborate with other directors to implement the organization's strategic goals. This role involves developing new logistics operating procedures, enhancing relationships with carriers and terminals, and expanding the company's geographical footprint.
Responsibilities
- Develop and roll out new dynamic logistics operating procedures
- Strengthen carrier and terminal relationships across the country
- Expand footprint in new geographical markets
- Act as point person on freight negotiations of dedicated contracts
- Serve as logistics liaison for imports and exports
- Analyze and assess market trends
Requirements
- Experience managing a team in a professional services setting is preferred
- Bachelor's degree from accredited institution in business or related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, advanced knowledge of Excel desired
- Comfortable with technology systems, familiarity with Dynamics 365 or Salesforce a plus
