About the position

The Director of Logistics at Illuminus is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and ongoing optimization of logistics and distribution processes across senior living campuses. This role involves managing assets such as technology devices, fleet vehicles, and security systems to ensure efficient operations. The Director will also support the implementation of technologies that enhance logistics efficiency and operational effectiveness, aligning logistics strategies with corporate goals to improve service delivery and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and actively promote effective communication with all individuals.
  • Maintain a positive image of the entity in the community in alignment with the mission, vision, and values.
  • Responsible for on-call services, as assigned.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the management, distribution, and tracking of organizational assets, such as fleet vehicles and security systems.
  • Lead the Mobile Device Management program for effective inventory tracking and cost optimization.
  • Oversee and manage the Fleet Car Program focusing on operational efficiency and cost management.
  • Develop and execute an Enterprise Call Center to monitor and dispatch communications to locations and stakeholders.
  • Establish and promote sustainable practices to reduce waste and improve resource utilization.
  • Ensure readiness for emergency logistics to maintain uninterrupted care and services.
  • Maintain processes for real-time situational awareness and integrated response across the enterprise.
  • Familiarity with IT systems supporting logistics operations, such as asset management software or ERP systems.
  • Support the implementation of corporate technology initiatives.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Align logistics strategies with corporate goals to enhance service delivery and resident satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in logistics, including leadership roles.
  • Preferred certifications: Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD), Project Management (PMP), or Information Technology related.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic logistics plans.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and team-building abilities.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or senior care IT systems preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data security compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Experience collaborating with IT teams or vendors for system implementation, upgrades, or troubleshooting.
