About the position

CRESTVIEW LANDSCAPE INC. is seeking a Director of Maintenance & Service Operations for our Los Angeles area operations. This role is pivotal in shaping the growth initiatives of the division and will report directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, capable of inspiring current staff and attracting new talent to the organization. The Director will be responsible for developing an operational plan that ensures consistent customer satisfaction, quality service, and adherence to company initiatives focused on safety, performance, and efficiency. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of upper management experience, overseeing a team of at least 50 members. A critical aspect of this role involves the ability to analyze, evaluate, and process financial data effectively. The Director will be expected to implement changes necessary for growth and expansion, demonstrating a willingness to innovate and challenge existing practices. The mantra "what got you here won't get you there" will be a guiding principle in this position. In the first year, the Director will evaluate current operations, engage with clients, visit job sites, and build relationships with both administrative and field staff. Understanding the strengths and opportunities within the division, as well as the skills and abilities of team members, will be essential. Additionally, the Director will support and generate sales, with the intention of eventually hiring a dedicated business developer. The company aims for an 18% year-over-year growth objective, supported by a robust construction arm that enhances the Maintenance & Service Division. Operations are based out of a warehouse and yard facility in the San Fernando Valley, with all maintenance work generated through referrals, without reliance on advertising or marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the current staff while attracting new talent to the organization.

  • Evaluate current operations and identify strengths and opportunities for growth.

  • Collaborate with the CEO on growth initiatives and strategic planning for the division.

Requirements
