About the position

The Director of Product & Manufacturing Operations at KREWE is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end manufacturing process of high-fashion eyewear. This position requires a results-driven leader with extensive experience in product management and collaboration with overseas manufacturing partners. The role focuses on ensuring timely product delivery, optimizing operational efficiency, and aligning product development with business goals, all while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of T&A Calendar and Product Manufacturing Process, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes and validating timelines.
  • Lead project management meetings to ensure production plans and schedules are met, delivering products on time and within budget.
  • Align weekly product development priorities with overall business goals to support product design.
  • Monitor and communicate team adherence to company KPIs, enhancing reporting processes.
  • Spearhead communication among the KREWE Design Team, overseas development, and third-party manufacturers for project updates.
  • Manage and develop the Project Management and Product Management teams to enhance team performance.
  • Drive strategies for operational excellence, optimizing workflow and resource utilization.
  • Oversee technology integration within operations to improve process efficiency and product quality.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive production planning strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Handle special requests related to Product Design and Development as directed by the Creative Director or VP of Product.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7+ years managing product concept to market, with a strong background in Product Management, ideally in manufacturing operations.
  • Experience working with manufacturing partners in China and/or Southeast Asia.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with a wide range of functional areas, including creative, design, and manufacturing.
  • Ability to assimilate large amounts of information and identify patterns, risks, and trends.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly proficient in Project Management Tools (smartsheet, Monday.com, etc.), Netsuite, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven track record of strategic leadership in a corporate setting.
