As the Director of Marketing & Admissions at American Senior Communities, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of our patients by providing compassionate care and support. This position is not just about fulfilling job responsibilities; it is about following a calling to serve the community. You will be responsible for managing the internal admissions system, which includes accepting inquiry calls from hospitals, families, and other referral sources. Your role will involve providing quality facility tours, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of bed availability, and ensuring that all inquiries are handled promptly and with appropriate follow-up. You will also be expected to maintain a working knowledge of federal and state regulations, as well as reimbursement issues related to Medicare and Medicaid. In addition to managing admissions, you will be actively involved in marketing efforts. This includes making person-to-person sales calls to promote our services and maintain a current list of referral sources. You will develop and nurture new relationships that can lead to referrals, and you will represent American Senior Communities on community organizations and boards. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and success of our senior living communities, ensuring that we continue to provide exceptional care and support to our residents.
