About the position

We are seeking an energetic, strategic Marketing & Admissions Director to get the word out about this innovative concept in person-directed care, the first Green House Project Community in Missouri. Cottages of Lake St Louis is comprised of 6 comfortable homes on one neighborhood-style campus, each featuring a dining room, cozy family room with fireplace, den, spa, and an open kitchen surrounded by 10 private bedrooms with private bathrooms. This real home environment, along with high staffing ratios and proven operating methods, provides elders with dignity, autonomy, and choice. The primary responsibility of the Marketing & Admissions Director is to coordinate and initiate census development in our Community, leading the admissions process and marketing activities which support education and census growth. Working closely with the Executive Director and Community Staff, the Marketing & Admissions Director will coordinate all inquiries, admissions, and daily communication with customers, including families and referral sources. This role is crucial in ensuring regulatory compliance with all admissions processes and ensuring that activities align with the philosophy, policies, and procedures established by the company. The ideal candidate will be passionate about person-directed care and will have the opportunity to be Missouri's hands-on expert in leading this gold standard in skilled care communities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and initiate census development in the Community.
  • Lead the admissions process and marketing activities to support education and census growth.
  • Manage all inquiries and admissions, ensuring effective communication with families and referral sources.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with all admissions processes.
  • Work collaboratively with the Executive Director and Community Staff to align activities with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in long term care admissions or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Computer literate with experience in CRM software.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Sales-oriented personality, results and achievement-oriented.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
  • Patience, positive disposition, and enthusiasm for working with residents and families.
  • Ability to seek out new methods and principles and incorporate them into existing admissions practices.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.
  • Empathy towards older prospects and their adult children.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in marketing within the healthcare sector.
