About the position

The Director of Marketing and Admissions at The Terrace at Mt. Ogden is responsible for overseeing the marketing strategies and admissions processes for a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. This role involves engaging with potential residents and their families, conducting outreach to healthcare professionals, and ensuring a smooth admission process while maintaining high standards of care. The position emphasizes employee growth and development within a supportive and communicative environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in touring and orientation of potential residents/family members.
• Conduct outreach and education on facility services and availability of patient care services to professional contacts, such as physicians, hospitals, related medical professionals, and discharge planners.
• Welcome and facilitate new admits into the skilled nursing setting, with education and follow-up as necessary.
• Meet with administration, medical and nursing staff, and other related departments in planning social services, as directed and necessary for patient pre and post admission needs.
• Assist family and residents as necessary in the execution of the required admissions documents.
• Provide information to residents/families regarding Medicare/Medicaid and other financial assistance programs available to the resident.
• Provide direct assistance and support to residents/families with the process of application, submission, and coordination with the relevant programs and their offices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a skilled nursing environment or related health field, as well as experience in public outreach and education.
• Supervisory and/or administrative experience in rehabilitative long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of the Medicare PPS system preferred.
