About the position

The Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Bay de Noc Community College is responsible for driving the college's voice and vision through strategic and impactful communications.   • Oversee the marketing and communications team, providing leadership and direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, public relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, both orally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in standard office software applications and ability to learn new software as needed.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design and digital imaging software.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in organization and project management.
  • Ability to prioritize marketing and communications requests accordingly.
  • Ability to work independently with close attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in public relations, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
