About the position

The Director of Marketing and Strategic Initiatives at Midwest Petroleum Equipment (MPE) is responsible for leading the company's marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness, attract new customers, and drive business growth. This role involves overseeing various marketing initiatives, managing brand presentation across locations, and representing MPE at industry events. The director will also coordinate marketing budgets and work closely with company leaders to develop strategic plans for revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute MPE's overall marketing strategy.
  • Direct marketing and branding initiatives and oversee the comprehensive MPE marketing plan.
  • Ensure the overall look and presentation of MPE Branch Office locations.
  • Develop standard operating procedures with Office Managers and Regional Manager.
  • Represent MPE at seminars, tradeshows, and conferences to enhance the brand.
  • Manage the overall strategy and brand management of MPE company apparel and promotional products.
  • Coordinate MPE industry association programs and manage the company event calendar.
  • Manage and coordinate employee and customer events to cultivate company culture.
  • Work with company leaders to develop and execute strategic plans for revenue growth.
  • Manage associated budgets for marketing, sponsorship, donations, and advertising.
  • Research industry best practices and integrate them into MPE's strategies.
  • Visit each branch office quarterly to manage Team and Safety Meetings.
  • Serve on MPE leadership and management team.
  • Manage and coordinate special projects and assignments with the CEO.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a marketing manager with 5+ years in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and customer segmentation.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions.
  • Creative and strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field.

Nice-to-haves
