About the position

The Director of Marketing and Strategic Initiatives at Midwest Petroleum Equipment will lead the company's marketing efforts to enhance brand awareness, attract new customers, and drive business growth in the petroleum industry. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, overseeing branding initiatives, and managing various marketing channels, including digital and traditional advertising. The director will also represent the company at industry events and manage the overall presentation of branch locations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute MPE's overall marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness and drive business growth.
  • Direct marketing and branding initiatives and oversee the comprehensive MPE marketing plan.
  • Manage MPE's website, social media channels, e-newsletter, and other forms of advertising.
  • Ensure the overall look and presentation of MPE Branch Office locations is consistent and professional.
  • Develop standard operating procedures with Office Managers and Regional Manager.
  • Represent MPE at seminars, tradeshows, and conferences to enhance the brand and develop community relations.
  • Manage the overall strategy and brand management of MPE company apparel and promotional products.
  • Coordinate MPE industry association programs and manage the company event calendar.
  • Work with company leaders to develop and execute strategic plans to grow revenue and build the MPE brand.
  • Manage associated budgets for marketing, sponsorship, donations, and advertising.
  • Research industry best practices and integrate them into MPE's strategies.
  • Visit each branch office quarterly to manage Team and Safety Meetings.
  • Serve on MPE leadership and management team and manage special projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a marketing manager with 5+ years in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and customer segmentation.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions.
  • Creative and strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field.
