About the position

The Director of Marketing at BYU-Pathway Worldwide is responsible for leading and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at driving demand and promoting student acquisition. This role encompasses overseeing traditional and digital advertising, managing public-facing websites, organizing marketing events, and analyzing marketing performance. The director will collaborate closely with various teams to attract and engage new students, ensuring that marketing efforts align with the organization's mission-driven goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive demand and promote student acquisition.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across multiple platforms, including Meta Ads, Google Ads, and YouTube.
  • Oversee traditional advertising efforts to enhance outreach and brand visibility.
  • Manage content marketing efforts to attract prospective students and improve SEO.
  • Produce high-quality marketing collateral to support area managers and Church leaders.
  • Oversee the BYU-Pathway and EnglishConnect websites, ensuring accurate and engaging information.
  • Plan and manage marketing events, including webinars and promotional initiatives.
  • Establish strategic sponsorships to support marketing goals.
  • Manage merchandise programs to promote BYU-Pathway Worldwide's brand.
  • Develop and oversee marketing messaging to prospective and returning students.
  • Track and analyze marketing efforts, measuring ROI and providing data-driven insights for optimization.
  • Manage and mentor a diverse team, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with significant experience in brand and content marketing, digital marketing, and team management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital marketing/advertising platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google, CRM systems, etc.).
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with experience in SEO, digital marketing, and content creation.
  • Exceptional collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Streamyard, Descript, and ManyChat.
  • Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
