About the position

The company primarily markets its products to hospitals across the United States, focusing on enhancing diagnostic efficacy, patient safety, and cost-effectiveness through innovative imaging solutions. The Director of Marketing, Devices and Informatics, plays a pivotal role in leading the Devices and Informatics Marketing team, responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans, pricing strategies, and revenue projections. This position is integral to the U.S. Commercial Leadership Team, overseeing new product releases and launches while ensuring alignment with global marketing initiatives. The Director will develop and monitor impactful marketing strategies and campaigns aimed at maximizing market growth and revenue opportunities while minimizing potential threats. This includes engaging with Global Marketing for effective life-cycle management and leading North American life-cycle programs in accordance with Bracco Medical Technologies' product development direction. The role also involves establishing relationships with key opinion leaders in radiology and medical informatics to gain insights into market dynamics and competitive strategies. The Director will interface with sales leadership and corporate accounts to ensure that field personnel's needs are met, supporting the ongoing sales and service of products. In addition to strategic responsibilities, the Director will oversee the hiring, training, and professional development of the marketing team, ensuring that they evolve into a world-class marketing organization. The position requires a strong focus on developing pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and accurate sales forecasts to meet both internal and external demands. Effective communication with cross-functional partners and the management team is essential to ensure all aspects of the franchise are represented and aligned with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor innovative marketing strategies and campaigns for Devices and Informatics.
  • Collaboratively engage with Global Marketing for effective life-cycle management.
  • Lead North American life-cycle programs in alignment with global product development direction.
  • Establish relationships with KOLs in radiology and medical informatics to understand market dynamics.
  • Interface with sales leadership to support the needs of field personnel.
  • Develop pricing strategies and guidelines to optimize profit and mix.
  • Create promotional campaigns to position the brand and increase awareness.
  • Ensure accurate sales and manufacturing forecasts are developed by the team.
  • Communicate with cross-functional partners to represent all facets of the franchise.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree in a relevant field required; MBA preferred.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in Medical Device and consumables or Medical Informatics Marketing.
  • 5+ years of personnel management experience.
  • Previous product launch experience preferred.
  • Possesses industry-specific business acumen to drive decisions and solve complex issues.
  • Ability to monitor trends and manage risks while maximizing opportunities.
  • Inspirational leadership skills to motivate and energize teams.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and decision quality in complex situations.
  • Creates opportunities for knowledge transfer across teams.
