About the position

As the Director of Marketing for Lifecycle and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) at Study.com, you will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at attracting and retaining customers through effective email and SMS campaigns. This role involves close collaboration with product teams to align marketing strategies with business goals, focusing on enhancing customer experience from acquisition to long-term retention. You will also manage a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement growth marketing strategies focused on customer acquisition and retention for the SaaS business.
  • Partner with Email/SMS channel leads to optimize customer acquisition, nurture, and member communications to grow membership and customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Segment target audiences and personalize communication strategies to enhance messaging relevance.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to analyze customer data, identify patterns, and grow the member base through CRO testing initiatives.
  • Create and execute go-to-market strategies for new features and products.
  • Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, promoting continuous learning and development.
  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to refine marketing campaigns.
  • Establish and maintain cross-functional partnerships to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.
  • Create revenue forecasts and strategic plans to achieve growth targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing with a proven track record in customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience with scaled CRO testing.
  • Hands-on experience with email (ESP), SMS, and lifecycle marketing platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with experience in people management and team development.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with product teams and stakeholders.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and drive marketing strategies in a dynamic environment.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $150,000 - $190,000 per year based on experience and skills.
  • Hybrid work model with in-office days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
