About the position

The Director of Marketing at Live! Hospitality & Entertainment is responsible for translating business goals into effective marketing strategies that drive growth and increase sales. This role involves managing the annual marketing calendar, developing and executing marketing plans, overseeing advertising efforts, and ensuring brand standards are met across various platforms. The Director will also mentor and manage the marketing team while fostering relationships with tenants and partners to enhance the district's visibility and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business goals into marketing strategies and objectives that facilitate overall business growth.
  • Manage the annual marketing calendar including concert series, festivals, community events, and promotions.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans, budgets, and event recaps aligned with sales and branding objectives.
  • Participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of all district events.
  • Maintain tenant relations by communicating day-to-day marketing efforts and assisting in coordination.
  • Manage all paid advertising including budgeting, negotiation, ad placement, and design coordination.
  • Oversee the development and production of branded print and digital collateral, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
  • Handle brand-related filming and photo needs.
  • Oversee all aspects of digital advertising including Google Search and Display and paid social media.
  • Develop strategic partnerships for cross-promotion of the district and its venues.
  • Coordinate marketing trade deals with media partners.
  • Mentor, motivate, manage, and develop the marketing team.
  • Execute trade agreements and marketing partnerships.
  • Lead sponsorship activation ensuring requirements are fulfilled in the marketing calendar.
  • Formulate and execute marketing and PR initiatives, coordinating logistics for press conferences.
  • Work with local business partners to drive large group events to the district.
  • Provide cohesive direction to internal marketing support teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in marketing with direct supervisory experience over a sales and/or marketing team.
  • Fluent in English; other languages preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with guests, employees, and third parties.
  • Mathematical skills including basic math, budgeting, and profit/loss concepts.

  • Ability to speak additional languages.
