About the position

The Director of Marketing at Park MGM, MGM Resorts International, plays a pivotal role in shaping the brand's marketing strategy and execution. This position is responsible for leading the development and execution of all guest-facing communication needs in collaboration with the operations team, while also overseeing enterprise-wide marketing initiatives. The Director will partner with Creative Services teams to ensure the successful development and execution of campaigns and projects that align with both short-term and long-term company objectives. In this role, the Director will direct and manage all marketing functions across various Lines of Business and Property, interpreting business needs to develop strategic marketing plans. Continuous evaluation of advertising initiatives is essential, as the Director will interpret data, identify trends, and make actionable recommendations to drive results and enhance the company's success. The position requires the development and submission of creative briefs, project requests, and budget and timeline parameters for creative work. As the main point of contact for property marketing approvals, the Director will provide prioritization guidance on all campaigns and projects. This role also involves serving as the brand subject matter expert and key marketing partner, consulting on all guest-facing developments and communications with Line of Business and Property leadership and executives. The Director will drive the rollout of company processes focused on efficiency and effectiveness, while managing and leading a team of marketers to foster a work environment that promotes guest service, teamwork, and employee satisfaction. This includes ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that reflect the company's commitment to diversity.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in advertising, marketing, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of prior relevant experience in advertising, marketing, client relationship management/client services, hospitality, or a related field.
