About the position

The Director of Marketing & PR at an arts education nonprofit in Princeton, NJ, is a key member of the management team responsible for overseeing the tactical aspects of the organization's marketing initiatives. This role focuses on launching campaigns to enhance the organization's reach through various channels, including print, digital, social media, video, events, and public relations. The Director will leverage analytics to drive growth and identify areas for improvement while managing a Marketing Associate and external consultants.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for tactical initiatives and supporting marketing strategy
• Provide data driven marketing strategies
• Collaborate with team members and consultants to craft influential marketing campaigns and messaging for various audiences
• Oversee all digital campaigns and ads
• Develop and oversee the design of social media and email strategy
• Contribute to the development of digital content
• Participate in organizational efforts to improve DEI practices
• Manage and oversee a Marketing Associate and external consultants

Requirements

• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience marketing educational programs, arts, or other related service a plus
• Strong desire to further arts education and an understanding of the importance of arts education
• Experience integrating DEI practices into marketing initiatives
• Technologically savvy with the ability to interpret marketing data and analytics
• Hands-on, self starter, excited about finding solutions for hurdles arising from technical initiatives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
