The Director of Marketing for Balboa Bay Resort and Balboa Bay Club is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all marketing activities associated with the properties. In this position, the Director will oversee the Marketing Coordinator, who executes various marketing tasks such as email campaigns, collateral production, website updates, and social media management. Collaboration with the Sales team is essential to develop strategies and materials that support sales efforts and specific initiatives. The Director will also work closely with various departments within the Resort and Club, including spa, food and beverage outlets, and member relations, to create promotional programs and manage creative projects. The role involves developing and maintaining strategic alliances with local and national organizations to enhance brand awareness. The Director will implement innovative communications and public relations programs to increase market share and profitability, acting as the spokesperson for the property when necessary. Monitoring customer reviews and managing the resort's social media strategy are also key responsibilities, ensuring a positive online reputation. The Director will analyze market trends and competition, providing monthly reports on the success of marketing programs and maintaining detailed records of partnerships and media contacts.
