About the position

The Director of Marketing and Sales Enablement at PEC is responsible for leading marketing and sales initiatives to drive growth and enhance brand visibility. This role involves strategic leadership, collaboration with various departments, and direct supervision of the marketing and sales enablement teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B marketing and sales processes, and will play a crucial role in shaping the company's strategic direction and operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a high-performing B2B marketing and sales enablement team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to support sales growth and increase brand visibility.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling marketing campaigns, content, and collateral that resonate with the target audience.
  • Support sales leadership in optimizing sales processes to drive scalability and achieve revenue growth.
  • Provide input on sales performance data, pipeline management, and analytics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination between sales, marketing, and service teams.
  • Lead the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of marketing and sales operations initiatives.
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Leverage data to analyze performance and trends and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the PEC team.
  • Collaborate within the leadership team to develop and refine the company's strategic vision, objectives, and long-term plans.
  • Negotiate contract terms and serve as liaison with outside agencies and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (M.A. or M.S.) or equivalent; or minimum 8 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience with campaign management, B2B lead generation, automation, content creation, graphic design, and social media marketing is required.
  • Sales operations and/or sales enablement experience desired.
  • Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the energy efficiency sector.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
