About the position

The Director of Marketing plays a crucial role in enhancing the competitive edge of U.S. CAD, an ARKANCE Company, within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) markets. This position serves as a vital link between marketing and the various Business Units and Business Lines of the organization. The primary responsibilities include collaborating extensively in the development of marketing strategies and planning, managing the execution of these strategies, and measuring and reporting results to ensure alignment with key business goals and objectives. The Director will work to ensure unity across all initiatives and stakeholders, thereby fostering a cohesive marketing approach that drives success. In this hybrid role based at the company's headquarters in Irvine, CA, the Director of Marketing will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications. The position entails managerial responsibilities, requiring the individual to embody the company's core values of honesty, integrity, commitment to excellent service, accountability, trust, mutual respect, and inclusivity. The Director will be expected to lead a small team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture while encouraging professional growth and development within the team. The Director will also oversee the marketing strategy, design, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring they are strategic, data-driven, and targeted for maximum impact. This includes managing budgets, tracking key performance metrics, and providing insights to stakeholders. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, capable of adapting to changing market conditions and stakeholder objectives. Additionally, the Director will collaborate closely with executives on staffing, training, planning, strategy, operations, and budgeting, ensuring that marketing efforts align with the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with specific goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the design, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including events, webinars, and email marketing.
  • Manage and develop a small team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics for marketing activities and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely completion of marketing campaigns within budget constraints.
  • Establish efficient processes and workflows for marketing operations.
  • Collaborate with executives on staffing, training, planning, and budgeting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of substantial B2B technology marketing experience.
  • 4+ years in a senior position managing personnel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage personnel effectively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
