About the position

The Director of Upstream & Partner Development at Momentum, Inc. is a senior-level marketing role focused on leading and mentoring cross-functional teams in the medical device industry. This position is responsible for developing marketing strategies, engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and driving product innovation through market research insights. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare marketing and proven leadership skills to influence product strategies and align development with market needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement upstream marketing processes across the product portfolio.
  • Generate strategic market insights to influence product and solution strategies.
  • Facilitate collaboration between regional and HQ business units for product development alignment.
  • Integrate Product Management into global product development to include critical market intelligence.
  • Drive KOL engagement initiatives to support product innovation and strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare experts for effective communication and collaboration.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to manage KOL interactions and strategic communication.
  • Design and implement governance processes for monitoring KOL engagement and marketing projects.
  • Report upstream marketing activities and performance to the CEO, evaluating KPIs for team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Marketing, Health Sciences, or related field (M.S., Ph.D., or MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years in the healthcare industry with a focus on KOL relationship management.
  • Expertise in product management and KOL engagement.
  • Proven leadership abilities in a global, cross-functional setting.
  • Strong stakeholder management and organizational culture development skills.
  • Experience establishing new teams and processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and people management capabilities.
