About the position

The position involves managing marketing teams within the Vacation Ownership business line at Travel + Leisure Co. The role focuses on maintaining resort occupancy conversion rates, ensuring an excellent owner experience, and coordinating with various departments including Resort, Sales, and Corporate/Regional Marketing. The manager will supervise Marketing Leaders, handle employee training and development, and resolve operational issues related to marketing and sales.

Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision of Marketing Leaders and staff, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
  • Motivate, reward, and provide disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Resolve issues pertaining to tour statuses, bookings, and coding.
  • Prepare daily and weekly status reports for corporate deadlines.
  • Coordinate with In-House and Front Line sales management regarding tour allotments and potential tour flow.
  • Ensure timely dissemination of pertinent marketing information.
  • Coordinate with sales regarding new or changes in marketing programs.
  • Submit employee payroll in a timely manner.
  • Perform other related functions as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree/coursework in Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years management experience in vacation ownership marketing.
  • At least 2-3 years Wyndham Marketing experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to effectively coach, counsel, and motivate direct reports.
  • Working knowledge of marketing databases.
  • Ability to recruit, train, and develop employees.
  • Ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
