About the position

RedCloud Consulting is a business and IT consulting company that has established itself as a leader in the home improvement and building materials industry. We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Marketing to lead our marketing team and support immediate client operations. This role is crucial for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in marketing leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the industry. As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for strategic planning, ensuring that all marketing strategies and campaigns align with our business goals and objectives. You will oversee brand management, ensuring consistent and strong brand positioning and messaging across all marketing channels. Your role will also involve leading the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and broadcast media, aimed at increasing customer engagement and sales. In addition to campaign development, you will manage and mentor the marketing team, fostering collaboration and a high-performance culture. Conducting market research and competitive analysis will be essential to identify opportunities, trends, and customer insights that inform our marketing strategies. You will oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and ROI measurement for all activities. Your expertise in digital marketing will be vital as you manage initiatives such as website management, SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and online advertising. Content creation will also fall under your purview, as you drive the content strategy and development to ensure the delivery of high-quality and relevant content across all channels. You will identify and establish strategic partnerships and collaborations to expand brand visibility and market reach, and collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing materials and campaigns that support lead generation and sales efforts. Finally, you will measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience in the home improvement or building materials industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics software.
