About the position

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive growth and increase brand awareness for the Flooring & Industrial line of business. This role involves leading marketing campaigns, product launches, and customer acquisition efforts while collaborating with various teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals. The position requires a strategic leader who can manage a small team and optimize marketing performance through data-driven tactics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the Flooring & Industrial line of business.
  • Lead marketing efforts for product and service launches, ensuring successful market positioning and messaging.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and leadership teams to drive go-to-market strategies and demand generation initiatives.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate leads and drive customer engagement.
  • Utilize data-driven marketing tactics to analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal and external creative teams to develop effective marketing materials.
  • Strengthen brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, content marketing, and online advertising.
  • Drive demand generation and lead nurturing strategies through various channels.
  • Manage the marketing budget and track marketing metrics to assess campaign effectiveness.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of marketing professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in B2B, B2C, or hybrid marketing environments.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques (SEO/SEM, email marketing, etc.).
  • Experience working closely with sales teams to align marketing efforts with revenue goals.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Flooring or Industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches.
