About the position

The Director of Marketing at Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea is responsible for leading the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies aimed at driving brand growth, increasing sales, enhancing customer engagement, and raising brand awareness. This role involves collaboration with franchise owners, home office teams, and external partners to ensure cohesive messaging and a unified brand presence across all platforms. The position is pivotal in crafting strategies that contribute to the profitability and development of franchise locations, ultimately helping to grow the brand into a significant competitor in the coffee and tea industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and plans to promote coffee, tea, and food products.
  • Maintain and enhance brand identity through consistent messaging and customer experience across franchise locations.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and customer preferences, utilizing insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Oversee the development of digital marketing initiatives including social media, mobile/email marketing, advertising, SEO, and website management.
  • Design and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal offerings, and loyalty programs to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Collaborate with franchisees to support local marketing efforts and ensure alignment with national strategies.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies based on data insights and feedback.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of marketing and brand management experience, with a focus on franchise marketing and local market development.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics.
  • Creative problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • High level of emotional intelligence.
