About the position

The Director of Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategies of TrueNorth Steel, focusing on driving brand awareness and sales growth. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in developing and executing successful B2B marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, enabling them to work cross-functionally and effectively manage the marketing department's workload. In this role, the Director will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's overarching business goals and objectives. They will lead a small marketing team, ensuring high-quality work is delivered within deadlines while prioritizing projects and workloads. The Director will oversee the creation and implementation of all marketing campaigns, both digital and traditional, including SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising for the brand and its four product divisions. Additionally, the Director will conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights. They will collaborate with in-house teams and agency partners to monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, evaluating their effectiveness and optimizing strategies accordingly. The role also involves managing the marketing budget, supporting internal and external communications initiatives, and staying updated with digital marketing trends to keep the company competitive. The Director will oversee website maintenance and development, develop PR and trade media opportunities, and work closely with key stakeholders to advance the company's revenue goals. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's marketing strategy in alignment with overarching business goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and marketing expenditures.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
