About the position

The Director of Marketing at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehab is responsible for developing, coordinating, directing, and administering the facility's marketing and public relations programs. This role aims to maintain and increase the facility's census while providing the community with relevant information about the facility's services and practices. The Director will work closely with department directors and staff to ensure effective marketing strategies and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the facility's admissions requirements, services, and requirements.
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility's marketing programs to maintain and increase census.
  • Assist department directors in developing and using marketing policies and procedures.
  • Establish rapport between departments to emphasize the importance of each staff member's role in marketing and public relations.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and tracking customer service satisfaction surveys.
  • Interpret the facility's policies and procedures regarding the release of information to various stakeholders.
  • Ensure public information about the facility's services is accurate and descriptive.
  • Develop and implement long-range plans for the facility's marketing and public relations program in coordination with the Administrator.
  • Serve as a liaison to the Administrator, medical staff, and other professional and supervisory staff.
  • Maintain schedules for all marketing and public relations programs.
  • Develop, schedule, and guide tours for personnel through the facility.
  • Maintain liaison with families, residents, and community leaders.
  • Participate in community service projects and develop problem-solving actions.
  • Schedule and participate in departmental meetings regarding marketing and public relations activities.
  • Interpret resident rights to residents, families, and staff as necessary.
  • Ensure adequate financial records and expense reports are submitted to the Administrator.
  • Coordinate special functions with all departments and assist with promotions, publications, and newsletters.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a healthcare setting required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • RN or LPN Nursing License is helpful.
