About the position

The Director of Marketing at Stride, Inc. will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategies for Tech Elevator, a leading coding bootcamp brand under the Galvanize umbrella. This position is designed for a strategic leader who will be responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that not only position Tech Elevator as an industry leader but also resonate with a diverse audience. The Director will oversee the marketing department, guiding the creation of compelling campaigns that align with the company's growth objectives and brand positioning. In this role, the Director of Marketing will leverage both internal and external talent to build and deploy effective marketing strategies across various media channels, including paid, owned, and earned media. A key aspect of this position will be to champion all brands under Galvanize, developing content marketing strategies that engage and convert customers throughout their journey. Collaboration will be essential, as the Director will work closely with teams in consumer delivery, enterprise sales, and operations to create marketing campaigns that support organizational goals. The Director will also coordinate with cross-functional teams to organize company events and promotions, ensuring that all marketing efforts are aligned with the overall business strategy. This role requires a strong focus on marketing leadership, where the Director will support and elevate the marketing function to serve Galvanize's Consumer, Enterprise, and Corporate interests through a client-service approach. The Director will work alongside the CMO to develop business and brand strategies that enhance marketing efforts and manage a team of marketers and vendors across various functions, including product/service marketing, partner marketing, content, and brand management. Additionally, the Director will be responsible for establishing company-wide marketing budgets in collaboration with the CEO, ensuring that Galvanize becomes an industry leader in efficient student-led acquisition and conversion. The execution of marketing initiatives will range from research and experimentation to the scaling of best practices, with a strong emphasis on leveraging automated systems to measure and report the performance of marketing investments and activities. Ultimately, the Director of Marketing will be tasked with developing and executing innovative initiatives that enhance the visibility and reputation of the brands within the coding bootcamp industry.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 7+ years of related professional experience in marketing.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a marketing role.
