About the position

As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team of marketing professionals and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and enhance the company's market presence. You will be expected to lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, which include digital marketing, advertising, tradeshows, and content marketing. Your ability to align marketing initiatives with sales goals and the product roadmap will be crucial in this position. In addition to campaign management, you will oversee the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to maximize ROI and achieve strategic objectives. Conducting market research and competitor analysis will be essential to identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities. You will also be responsible for the development of marketing collateral, including sales materials, product documentation, and promotional content. Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing will be necessary to drive innovation and maintain a competitive advantage. Analyzing marketing performance metrics and KPIs will be a key part of your role, allowing you to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize marketing efforts accordingly. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity based in Irvine, CA, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote company products and solutions across target markets.
  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, tradeshows, and content marketing.
  • Collaborate with sales, product management, and other departments to align marketing initiatives with sales goals and the product roadmap.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Oversee the development of marketing collateral, including sales materials, product documentation, and promotional content.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics and KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a marketing management role, preferably in the technology or security industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive business results.
  • Experience with planning, designing, and executing industry tradeshows.
  • Web design experience is preferred.
