Responsibilities

  • Overseeing marketing and promotions department.
  • Evaluating and developing marketing and promotion strategies and plans.
  • Planning, directing, and coordinating marketing and promotions efforts.
  • Communicating the marketing and promotions plan.
  • Researching competitors to stay current.
  • Working with sales and programming teams to develop successful strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborating with leadership to make high-level decisions regarding brand direction.
  • Creating and maintaining a successful brand and image that attracts listeners.
  • Developing and managing budgets and advertising campaigns.
  • Building brand awareness and positioning.
  • Supporting sales and programming efforts.
  • Coordinating marketing projects from start to finish.
  • Organizing major events.
  • Overseeing and managing all activities related to iHeartLife.
  • Brainstorming and creating social media and digital strategies.
  • Creating, growing, and maintaining email databases.
  • Recapping events and promotions once completed.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of proven experience in marketing and promotions including running a successful team.
  • Proven marketing campaign experience.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets.
  • Professional and proactive work ethic.
  • High competence in project and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Technical knowledge of digital content, social platforms, and streaming applications in radio.
  • Ability to assist in maximizing terrestrial and digital revenue opportunities.
