The Director of Marketing at Credit Union 1 is a pivotal role responsible for leading the marketing strategy and initiatives that align with the credit union's strategic vision and operational goals. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of branding, marketing, and communications, as well as the ability to manage a significant budget effectively. The Director will own the annual marketing plan, budget, and goals, which include key sponsorships, advertising, member communications, product marketing, and various campaigns aimed at driving member acquisition, retention, and engagement. In this role, the Director will develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns that not only enhance member experience but also ensure that all marketing efforts are in sync with the credit union's overall strategic objectives. The position involves driving partnership marketing strategies and executing initiatives that create awareness and business development opportunities. The Director will also be responsible for identifying, tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) that are tied to the strategic goals of the organization and the marketing department's efforts. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Director will work across various functional areas of the organization to support key initiatives and ensure a consistent member experience across all communication channels. The position also entails managing marketing policies, processes, and standard operating procedures, as well as partnering with internal stakeholders to enhance the digital experience of Credit Union 1. Utilizing technology and analytics to identify marketing trends and overseeing a comprehensive annual advertising strategy are also critical components of this role. The Director will collaborate with both internal content and creative teams and external vendors to ensure an integrated marketing strategy is executed effectively across all channels. Additionally, the Director is expected to demonstrate support for the corporate mission, vision, and values, maintain positive working relationships within the department, and engage in community service activities as part of the management staff's responsibilities. This may include serving on non-profit boards, participating in fundraisers, and attending management-mandated events. The role may require occasional travel and work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, to fulfill the responsibilities effectively.
