About the position

As the Director of Marketing at CELLSCRIPT™, you will lead the marketing efforts to promote our reagents to a global market of researchers, academic institutions, and commercial labs. This role is pivotal in strategizing, developing, and executing comprehensive marketing plans that align with our business goals, enhancing brand visibility, and driving sales growth. You will be responsible for creating a cohesive marketing strategy that not only increases brand awareness but also directly contributes to sales performance. In this position, you will manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources across various projects. Collaboration with the sales team is essential, as you will refine marketing strategies based on market trends and sales data. You will lead market research initiatives to gain insights into customer needs and identify new market opportunities, ensuring that our marketing efforts are data-driven and customer-focused. Additionally, you will oversee the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns, assessing their effectiveness and making necessary adjustments to optimize performance. Establishing and maintaining relationships with external agencies and vendors will be a key part of your role, as will staying updated with the latest trends in the biotech industry to ensure our marketing strategies remain competitive.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
  • Proven experience in marketing management, ideally in the biotech or related scientific sector.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
