About the position

The Director of Marketing at K12 Services Inc. will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategies that position Tech Elevator as a leader in the tech education industry. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), this strategic leader will be responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that resonate with a diverse audience and drive growth objectives. The role requires a deep understanding of product and brand marketing, including defining targeted customer segments, developing marketing strategies, and managing product/brand performance with P&L accountability. In this position, the Director of Marketing will oversee the creation and coordination of advertising and promotional materials, ensuring that all marketing efforts align with the company's business goals. This includes gathering and analyzing marketplace trends and customer data to inform marketing decisions. The Director will lead a team of marketers and vendors, managing day-to-day operations while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including consumer delivery, enterprise sales, and operations, to develop effective marketing campaigns. The Director will also be responsible for establishing company-wide marketing budgets in collaboration with the CEO, ensuring that marketing investments are efficient and effective in driving student acquisition and conversion. This role will leverage automated systems to measure and report on the performance of marketing activities, allowing for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement of marketing strategies. The Director of Marketing will be a champion for all brands under the Galvanize umbrella, developing content marketing strategies that engage and convert customers throughout their journey.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • 7+ years of related professional experience in marketing.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a marketing role.
