About the position

The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and leading strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer success, and revenue growth. This role involves overseeing all marketing activities, including digital marketing, content creation, brand management, product launches, and market analysis. The Marketing Director will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales and Product Development to ensure a cohesive and impactful approach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop global marketing strategies that align with the company vision, including identity and brand content, product launch material, education methods and overall asset development.
  • Direct all creation of promotional materials, collaborating with graphic designers and marketing team members to produce targeted campaigns including product launches for various business units.
  • Develop effective working relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure all marketing assets meet requirements.
  • Lead and manage the marketing team, providing guidance, training, mentorship, and support.
  • Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and oversee implementation.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Oversee the marketing budget, optimizing spend for maximum ROI and tracking key performance metrics.
  • Analyze campaign performance and present reports on effectiveness to senior management.
  • Support business events and initiatives including trade shows and corporate events.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in a marketing role, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • At least 3 years in a leadership/people-management role.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, team leadership, and managing successful marketing projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt strategies in a fast-paced environment.
