The Director of Marketing for Global Healthcare IT is a pivotal role within our organization, overseeing the marketing and communication functions for a specific market. This position is based in Nashville, TN, and reports directly to the Regional Director of Consumer Engagement or the AVP of Marketing Operations. The Director will be responsible for the development and implementation of consumer engagement strategies, media relations, and crisis communications. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the reputation and brand awareness of our healthcare services while advancing business objectives across our growing network of hospitals and physician clinics. In this role, the Director will collaborate closely with the consumer engagement team to execute branding, marketing, and advertising functions, including service line marketing and community outreach initiatives. Regular communication of consumer engagement strategies and local intelligence to the broader consumer team is essential, along with monthly reporting to track progress and outcomes. The Director will provide strategic leadership and counsel in marketing and communications, leveraging both organic and earned media to continually improve strategies and enhance impact and engagement. The Director will take ownership of local engagement needs, working collaboratively with the broader consumer team to develop and implement effective strategies tailored to the local market. This includes mentoring, coaching, and managing the local market team to achieve organizational and professional goals. The role also involves collaboration with multiple internal teams, clients, and stakeholders at both local and enterprise levels to enhance consumer experiences and support the development of strategic plans for the local market and consumer team marketing initiatives. Additionally, the Director will represent the organization at community and business meetings, making presentations and promoting existing or new services, while optimizing processes to drive volume growth and reactivation of dormant patients.
