The Director of Marketing at Galvanize will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategies that position Tech Elevator as a leader in the coding bootcamp industry. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), this position is responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that resonate with a diverse audience and drive growth objectives. The Director will lead a team of marketers and collaborate with various departments to create compelling campaigns that enhance brand visibility and reputation. This role requires a strategic mindset, as the Director will leverage both internal and external resources to build effective marketing strategies across all media channels, including paid, owned, and earned media. In addition to overseeing the marketing department, the Director of Marketing will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring alignment with business goals, and fostering a client-service approach. This includes collaborating with the CMO to develop business and brand strategies, managing marketing budgets, and executing initiatives that drive student acquisition and conversion. The Director will also be tasked with developing innovative initiatives that enhance brand value and storytelling, managing media relations, and creating campaigns that attract customers to the product or service. The role also encompasses campaign management, where the Director will drive the development of data-driven content campaigns that engage and convert audiences. This includes managing customer engagement strategies across various messaging platforms and facilitating local events to enhance brand presence. Furthermore, the Director will focus on team development, hiring and nurturing marketing team members, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
