About the position

As the Director of Marketing at Census, you'll be at the forefront of driving our B2B customer acquisition and revenue growth. You'll develop and execute experiments and programs to acquire more Operations, Data, and Growth users and drive feature adoptions. You'll work closely with our product, Sales, Operations, and data teams to optimize our customer journey with North Star's metrics of New Users Acquisition and Org Activations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data-driven growth strategies to accelerate customer acquisition and revenue growth for our B2B segments
  • Develop and manage partnerships, affiliate programs, and other scalable growth channels to drive top-of-funnel growth
  • Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to optimize the self-serve customer journey and improve conversion rates
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and pain points, using these insights to inform marketing strategies
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to launch new growth experiments and optimize existing channels
  • Own and optimize marketing budget allocation to maximize ROI across global markets
  • Create compelling, personalized marketing campaigns that resonate with our target B2B audience

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B growth marketing, with a proven track record of driving user acquisition and product adoption
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of inspiring teams with a clear and shared vision of success
  • Data driven and analytical, but not myopic to incremental A/B test results - can see the forest for the trees
  • An entrepreneurial and high-ownership mindset. You are comfortable handling ambiguity and rolling up your sleeves to own work streams from end to end
  • Obsession with learning about the customer, whether it's via ad-hoc interviews, feedback, or research sprints, to better understand pain points and needs
  • A bias towards action. You understand that most decisions can be revisited and improved over time and that done is often better than perfect.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the data infrastructure or SaaS industry
  • Deep understanding of marketing tech, knows the in and out of tools like Hubspot, Customer.io, Koala, Salesforce, etc.
  • Fluent in SQL
  • Familiarity with JS and Python. Can write ok scripts with GPT as an ally.
