About the position

Innotec is seeking a Director of Materials and Supply Chain to lead our efforts in optimizing product flow and enhancing our global material replenishment systems. As an industry leader in LED lighting, tube forming, and counterweight solutions, we are committed to efficiency, performance, and sustainability in all our processes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of manufacturing product flow and will be responsible for creating and implementing effective material replenishment strategies. This role requires a strong leader who can successfully manage cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The Director will spend a significant portion of their time—up to 70%—on the manufacturing floor, working directly with teams to identify and resolve issues, improve processes, and maintain successful programs. This hands-on approach is essential for understanding the intricacies of our operations and ensuring that our supply chain management aligns with our overall business goals. The successful candidate will be a logical problem solver, adept at data-driven analysis, and will leverage their expertise in MRP and ERP systems to make informed decisions that enhance our supply chain efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of global material replenishment systems.
  • Manage and optimize product flow within the manufacturing process.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain operations.
  • Collaborate with customers and suppliers to enhance communication and interaction.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Spend significant time on the manufacturing floor to identify and resolve issues.
  • Utilize data-driven analysis to inform decision-making and improve systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting leading supply chain management, inventory, lean, and operations.
  • Expertise in manufacturing product flow and global material replenishment systems.
  • Strong understanding of lean principles, including pull material systems and inventory management.
  • Proven track record of measurable results in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work on the manufacturing floor to address issues and improve processes.
  • Expertise in MRP and ERP systems, including implementation experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to system improvements.
