About the position

The primary purpose of this role is to lead and manage the successful delivery of diverse fixture and casework millwork projects. This involves ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget while driving continuous improvement in project management practices. The successful candidate will provide leadership to a team of project managers and foster collaboration across cross-functional teams. Applicants must be willing to relocate to the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN area, as local applicants will not be considered. In this position, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. You will innovate and refine project management methodologies, processes, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Leading and mentoring a team of six project managers will be a key aspect of your role, providing guidance and support to inspire high performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Regular project status meetings will be conducted to provide updates to stakeholders, ensuring adherence to project management standards, policies, and procedures. You will proactively monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies. Cultivating a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and acting on opportunities for process enhancements will also be a critical part of your responsibilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing complex fixture and casework millwork projects.
• Proven ability to confidently address complex challenges.
• Passion for leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated leadership skills that drive team success.
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with project management software.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, business management, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in creating financial reports and maintaining project budgets.
• Willingness to relocate to Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN.
