About the position

The Director of Multimedia Content and Digital Marketing Specialist at GrantNews is a pivotal role that combines leadership in content creation with strategic digital marketing initiatives. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire content production process, ensuring that all materials are not only engaging but also aligned with the company's marketing goals. The successful candidate will manage a team of content creators, guiding them in the development of articles, graphics, and multimedia content that resonates with our audience and enhances our brand visibility. In addition to content management, the Director will spearhead our social media strategy, aiming to increase our follower base and engagement across all platforms. This includes scheduling, proofreading, and approving all content before it goes live, as well as managing the distribution of podcasts and video content. The role also involves leveraging analytics tools to track performance and optimize our digital marketing efforts. The Director will be tasked with creating and managing pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns across various platforms, including Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. They will also set up and oversee affiliate marketing programs and public contests to boost engagement and drive traffic to our content. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation, with a proven track record of successful project management and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, schedule, proofread, and approve all content from staff.
  • Copy-edit articles on WordPress.
  • Increase social media followers and manage all company channels.
  • Place content on free websites to enhance visibility.
  • Direct the creation of graphics and video content for social media.
  • Direct podcast video and audio editing, and distribute on various platforms.
  • Create, manage, and track PPC ads on Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Set up and manage affiliate marketing programs.
  • Create and manage public contests to boost engagement.

Requirements

  • Experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
  • Experience and knowledge of website and social media analytics research tools.
  • Experience and knowledge of SEO.
  • Proficient in managing paid advertising campaigns.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Creative with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent English written communication and collaboration skills.
