About the position

The Director of Nursing at BTGRAD INC is responsible for establishing and managing the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program while serving as a liaison with the Texas Board of Nursing. This senior-level position requires a strong background in nursing education and leadership, focusing on program development, faculty coordination, and compliance with accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program and serve as the liaison with the Texas Board of Nursing (BON).
• Plan, administer, manage, and evaluate the ADN Program and course offerings.
• Provide leadership and vision for the creation and implementation of a strategic plan for the ADN Program.
• Develop marketing and promotional strategies for the ADN Program and courses.
• Direct all phases of the professional nursing education program, including approval of teaching staff and selection of clinical sites.
• Oversee admission, progression, probation, dismissal of students, and enforcement of student policies.
• Function as the instructional leader for the ADN Program in the development, assessment, and revision of curricula and program outcomes.
• Ensure the program meets and maintains accreditation requirements.

Requirements

• A Master's degree with a major in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• At least five (5) years of varied nursing experience since graduating from a professional nursing education program.
• A minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in a professional nursing education program.
