About the position
The Director of Nursing at Signature HealthCARE of Glasgow Rehab & Wellness Center is responsible for managing the overall operations of the Nursing Department, ensuring compliance with company policies, standards of nursing practices, and governmental regulations. This role focuses on maintaining excellent care for residents, developing nursing services, and coordinating interdisciplinary care plans.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the Nursing Department in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations.
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing services department and its programs.
- Assist with the development and approval of the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care for each resident in coordination with various stakeholders.
- Confirm accurate completion of forms and reports for the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse in good standing with required current state license.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in long-term care and/or acute care setting required.
- Minimum of two (2) years management/supervisory experience required.
- Must have a current/active CPR certification.
