About the position

The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for overseeing nursing operations at a 55-bed long-term care facility. This role requires a compassionate leader who is dedicated to improving the quality of care for the elderly population. The DON will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and lead quality improvement initiatives while fostering a supportive and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives within the facility.
• Manage and support nursing staff to provide high-quality care.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to nursing care.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
• Experience in long-term care settings.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement initiatives.
• Excellent clinical, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to balance administrative nursing care with hands-on patient care.
