About the position

The Director of Operations and Finance at Bishop Kelley High School is responsible for overseeing the non-academic operations of the school, including Finance, HR, IT, Transportation, and Facilities. This executive role involves developing a strategic vision for these departments, ensuring compliance, managing relationships with vendors, and promoting a culture aligned with Catholic values. The position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance the school's operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Team Lead for Facility & Maintenance and oversee management of facilities personnel.
• Conduct facilities walkthroughs and liaise with custodial staff to ensure maintenance.
• Oversee the Controller's management of business office personnel and the school budgeting process.
• Develop and manage the school's long-term strategic financial vision in collaboration with the President and Finance Committee.
• Oversee all aspects of transportation and develop a strategic vision for bus usage.
• Work with the IT Manager to cast a data-driven strategic vision for IT needs and supervise technology integration across the campus.
• Manage relationships with insurance entities and coordinate claims investigations.
• Supervise HR personnel and oversee all aspects of the employment process.
• Oversee the relationship with the school's food service provider and ensure financial sustainability of the program.
• Collaborate with school leadership to ensure appropriate security oversight at campus events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Previous management experience required.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with technology for project management.
• Strong analytical skills and organizational abilities.
• Experience in an educational environment preferred.
