About the position

The Director of Operations for Home Infusion & DME at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of Home Infusion and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) services. This role involves managing service delivery, staffing, quality assurance, compliance, and patient care coordination while collaborating with clinical teams and external partners to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. The Director will also be responsible for implementing program goals and policies, maintaining operational standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer Home Infusion and DME program philosophy, goals, and policies.
• Oversee daily operations of Respiratory Therapy, DME Customer Service, Revenue Cycle, Warehouse/Delivery, Quality Assurance & Inventory Management Departments.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, departmental policies, and training programs for all departments within scope of responsibility.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance Analyst and Customer Service Supervisor to ensure compliance with regulatory and insurance payor guidelines.
• Ensure timely delivery of Clinical Respiratory Services and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Work with Billing Manager to ensure accurate billing and compliance with company policies and standards.
• Oversee performance improvement programs and develop action plans to address findings below threshold.
• Manage payroll activities and ensure compliance with Human Resource policies and regulatory standards.
• Supervise accounts payable system and vendor statement reconciliation.
• Assist in recruitment, selection, and retention of staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 10 years of equivalent work experience in a leadership role in DME, Home Infusion, or related healthcare field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a leadership role in DME, Home Infusion, or related healthcare field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Intermediate Level Knowledge or higher of Microsoft Office Applications and/or Google Suite equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License from a USA state.
