About the position

The Director of Operations for the Imaging Clinic is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a customer-centric culture. This role involves strategic planning, team management, and collaboration with the executive team to achieve financial and operational goals within the healthcare setting, particularly in imaging services.

Responsibilities

  • Create an Operational strategic and tactical plan.
  • Lead and manage a functional team of Radiation Therapists, Imaging Technicians, and Patient Care Coordinators.
  • Cultivate and sustain a customer-centric operating culture that strives to exceed customer goals, objectives, requirements, and expectations.
  • Promote a culture that always maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Create an empowering work climate; inspire collaborative teamwork and problem solving.
  • Effectively communicate values and expectations regarding quality.
  • Proactively identify, appropriately define, diagnose and resolve all operational issues.
  • Anticipate and be flexible, adjusting plans to meet changing conditions.
  • Develop ways to measure progress, evaluate results and take corrective action in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a catalyst for effective change in the Imaging department.
  • Meet financial performance and goals of the Imaging portfolio.
  • Demonstrate customer compassion and speaking skills in tough situations.
  • Work with the executive team to distill company strategy into impactful, departmental OKRs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with partners to align performance-based objectives and develop plans.

Requirements

  • 8 years' progressive experience directing or managing Healthcare Operations function.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Biological, Lifesciences, or Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven understanding of a Radiologist's workflow and ability to create operational efficiencies.
  • Experience managing service operations in a medical imaging environment.
  • Expert knowledge of relevant imaging equipment operation highly preferred.
  • An experienced leader, who is mission-focused, growth oriented, committed to operational excellence, process-minded, and skilled in leading teams in a performance-driven culture.
  • Ability to measure and track performance, success of programs, initiatives.
