About the position

The Director of Operations/Integrator at Standard Water Control Systems is a newly created role aimed at overseeing daily operations and profitability while serving as the right-hand to the Visionary. This position is crucial for driving people and organizational development within a small, growing company that has been in business for 46 years, focusing on providing peace of mind through services like basement waterproofing and foundation repair.

Responsibilities

  • Faithfully execute the V/TO, achieving or exceeding planned objectives.
  • Lead, manage, and hold the leadership team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments.
  • Perform and/or supervise administrative functions including Purchasing, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Finance, and Managerial Accounting Reports.
  • Integrate all major operating functions of the business.
  • Ensure everyone is rowing together preferably in the same direction.
  • Model the way, always working towards the greater good of the Company.
  • Resolve issues effectively, seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems, and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner.
  • Ensure the leadership team is healthy, functional, cohesive, ensuring that everyone is truly adhering to core processes with consistency.
  • Dependably demonstrate a relentless obsession with values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity.
  • Effectively collaborate with the Visionary and stay on the same page.
  • Confirm that all key messages are properly and consistently cascaded across the organization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a director of operations/integrator or in a similar leadership role, preferably in construction, home services, or a related industry.
  • 5 years of leadership experience required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a busy team of leaders.
  • Ability to represent the team professionally in front of clients and employees.
  • Initiative to find and present solutions and ideas.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with EOS/Traction methodology.
