About the position

The Director of Operations Project Management at WellBiz Brands is a strategic leadership role focused on transforming innovative ideas into actionable projects that drive the company's growth. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage the planning and execution of new services and projects, ensuring they align with business goals and are delivered on time and within budget. The role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and hands-on execution, responsible for overseeing project accountability from inception to market launch.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and refine the WellBiz Brands project playbook methods for successful project launches.
  • Create project plans for strategic projects in collaboration with business unit leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Hold teams accountable to timelines and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Manage the backlog of innovation ideas in partnership with the Brand Management team.
  • Coordinate communication with franchisees for seamless rollout of innovation plans.
  • Maintain appropriate project documentation and define project scopes, deliverables, and timelines with project owners.
  • Facilitate project meetings, set agendas, and track tasks and issues to resolution.
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and cost effectively.
  • Collect project metrics and communicate status to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Lead project completion and closure activities, including post-launch surveys and reporting.
  • Regularly communicate project status and blockers to the Executive Leadership Team and Steering Committees.
  • Assist in training internal team members on project management methods and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive project management experience.
  • PMP or CAPM certification preferred.
  • Experience in multi-unit retail, hospitality, and franchise systems.
