About the position

The Director of Operations at Topgolf is responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. This leadership role involves overseeing department heads and staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Director will also focus on fostering a collaborative culture, monitoring performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership and direction to department heads and staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocation to optimize operational performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of operations across the organization.
  • Oversee facility management, maintenance, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and maintain quality standards.
  • Lead and support the training and development of operational staff.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion, contributing to strategic planning initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing operations.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a similar industry or organization is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
